Privacy Policy
What we collect when you ask us for a quote, where it goes, and how to have it removed. In plain English.
State Auto Glass Inc is a mobile auto glass business in Salem, Oregon. We collect the least we can get away with: enough to quote your job and call you back. We do not sell your information, we do not trade it, and we do not send it to advertisers.
What we collect
When you fill in the quote form, we ask for your name, your phone number, and the service you need. Those three are required. Everything else on the form is optional: your email address, your ZIP code, your vehicle's year, make and model, and anything you type in the message box.We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your driver's licence, your policy number, or any payment details. If you send those to us in the message box, please don't.Where it goes
A submitted form is delivered to us by email. Two services help with that delivery, and your information passes through them on its way to our inbox:- Web3Forms — takes the form submission from your browser and emails it to us.
- Resend — a backup email service, used only if the first one is unavailable.
Your IP address
When a form is submitted, our server briefly notes the sending IP address so that one person cannot flood us with hundreds of fake requests. It is held in memory for a few minutes and is not written to any permanent record, not linked to your enquiry, and not used to identify or track you.Cookies and what this site stores in your browser
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. What it does store, in your own browser and nowhere else, is your display preferences: your colour theme and whether you chose to read the site in Spanish. That never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and clearing your browser data removes it.Two pages load something from outside: the contact page embeds a Google map, and the reviews page can embed a Google reviews widget. Those embeds are provided by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy policy.How long we keep it
Your quote request stays in our email for as long as we may reasonably need it — to do the job, to honour the workmanship guarantee on it, and to answer a question about it later. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask and we will.Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number, we use it to reply about your quote or your appointment — by call or by text, whichever you used to reach us. We do not run marketing campaigns and we do not add you to a texting list. Reply STOP at any time and we will stop texting you.Asking us to delete your information
Call or text us, or send an email, and say so. You do not need a form or a reason. We will confirm once it is done.Children
This site is for people arranging auto glass work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.Changes to this policy
